About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from The Ohio State University and completed both my M.A. and Ph.D. at Kent State University. My clinical training included a predoctoral internship at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, followed by a postdoctoral residency at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. I am licensed in Georgia, Iowa, and Louisiana, and provided Telehealth services to clients located in the 40+ states participating in PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact). All of my services are virtual at this time.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and grounded in evidence-based treatments. I integrate a range of proven therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), The Gottman Method, and Trauma Informed Guilt Reduction (TrIGR).

I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. My goal is to help clients better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck while building the skills needed to move forward with confidence. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges, therapy can provide a space to gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting change. Seeking support can feel like a big step. I strive to provide a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and working toward the life they want to build.
